Our trip to Indiana was lots of fun, we ended up bringing back an extra suitcase. Annelise got lots of clothes and John and I each got a coat, plus he got some hiking boots and I got two pairs of boots. Our flight back to DFW was delayed because of freezing rain in Texas, but it was all fine by the time we got back.
We've been sorting and packing this week, trying to decide what can go with the movers and what we NEED with us. The airports in Tokyo are going to be a blast with 6 suitcases, carry-ons, Annelise, and her carseat/stroller.
We picked up Annelise's passport today, so now we're just waiting on a couple of other things before we can leave! Our movers will be here on Monday, and then we're just waiting on our itenerary to be e-mailed to us and I'm sure there are other things as well.
Tomorrow my cousin Ben is getting married, Annelise will get to attend her first wedding. I'm looking forward to brisket and dancing and John is looking forward to drinking with Kyle and Trent. Then Annelise gets baptized on Sunday. We attended a class this week and Melisa and Dan are her godparents! Annelise is wearing my christening gown and it doesn't quite fit... I weighed 6 1/2 pounds when I was born and was baptized at 2 weeks. Annelise weighed 8 pounds when she was born and is being baptized at 6 weeks, so I can definitely understand the top button not buttoning. That's ok, though, because you have to unbutton it anyways when they annoint her with the oil.
Next Saturday our friends and family are getting together at my parents' house for a party in our honor. If you're in the area, come on by! Several of my friends here in town haven't seen Annelise yet so I hope they can all make it. Man, we have lots to do and very little time in which to do it. Anyone want to buy a 2008 Ford Escape?? I'm selling mine.

We will be there!!!
just remember that a stroller, laid flat, can be piled with suitcases.
